Dining Pavilion Interior
The Thacher School

The Thacher School is a highly selective, co-educational, independent boarding school located on 427 acres of hillside overlooking the Ojai Valley. The new 14,505 sf Dining Pavilion complements the historic, western-vernacular buildings that occupy the physical and emotional heart of campus.

Context-sensitive, and deeply ecological, The Thacher School’s new Dining Pavilion poetically merges food, community, and memorable spaces with landscape, sustainability, and outdoor learning. It supports and inspires the distinctive Thacher school culture – from fireside parlor readings and formal dinners to family-style breakfasts around the coffee table. Each meal fosters an opportunity to make a meaningful connection – with your community, your surroundings, and the world-at-large.

Consistent with Thacher’s environment goals – the facility is on track to achieve LEED Gold certification.
