Mountainside Home is the third phase of a Montecito Tea Fire rebuild project. The 3800SF main residence completes a 3-acre site master plan developed by modern home architect, Blackbird Architects in 2009.

The Tea Fire was a wildfire that began on November 13, 2008, destroying 210 homes in the cities of Montecito and Santa Barbara, California.
