Oak Knoll Home – Preserving a Pristine Oak Woodland

Currently under construction, Oak Knoll Home is nestled on a hillside overlooking a pristine oak woodland. Seamlessly integrating modern architecture with open-plan living and sweeping views of the surrounding mountain and oak canopy.

Thoughtfully placed plantings and protective walls frame expansive glazing, offering privacy from the street while enhancing the connection to nature. Designed to minimize grading and preserve the natural landscape, the home rests gently on a flat site, optimizing stormwater retention.

Watch a fly-over and through video on the Oak Knoll Home project page.

The striking canted hip roofs rise gracefully, creating dynamic indoor-outdoor spaces filled with soft northern light.

Intimate outdoor rooms— including an arrival court, breakfast patio, outdoor shower, spa, and terraces— foster a sense of serenity and invite residents to fully engage with their natural surroundings.

Special thanks to all project collaborators.
